With no electricity or telephone, accompanied only by his typewriter, the year he spent here is recorded in diary notes recounting the forbidding terrain and fiercely elemental island weather that continue to play so much a part in the unique characteristics of Isle of Jura Single Malt Scotch whisky to this day. |
