Author Details
Born in Tokyo in 1959, Takumasa Ono worked as a Japanese nature painter until he moved to Britain as the official
artist of the Association of National Trusts in Japan in 2002. He currently
teaches and shows his work in major cross-cultural exchange programmes
between the West and Japan. His solo exhibitions of print works have been
held in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, New Zealand, and in the UK. Onofs
paintings have been shown on Japanese television, and feature in TOYOTA
2004 calendar.
