Even if you are to play a drum in a rental studio, first thing to do will be making adjustments.

| Materials & Size |
Snare drums usually have their bodies made of wood and metal. I prefer the one made of birch.
Standard size of the snare drum is 14 inches across, and 5 to 6.5 inches deep. But there are some exceptions, too.
My snare drum is 6.5 inches deep.
