Jazz was made up based on Blues as well as Rock. I've never examined but it may come from the U.S.A. Blues has been changing to Jazz.
The difference between Blues and Jazz is that Jazz has more chord variations. In Jazz, the number of chords are countless. Their basic structures seems to be almost same as Blues..
