Based
on the compromise reached at the Tokyo District Court on Dec.
27, 2007,
between us and the other homonymous party, who publish their own journal with
the same name as ours, we adopt new aliases for our society and journal as
follows.
Society's name: The Butterfly Society of Japan (Teinopalpus)
Journal's name: Butterflies (Teinopalpus)
Accordingly, from No. 48, the above alias applies to our
"Butterflies". With regard to the preceding Nos. 39-47, our
"Butterflies" may be cited by appending its respective publication
locality at the time, as conventionally practiced in science when citing
homonymous journals. Nos. 1-38, without any homonymous journal, require no
appendage for distinction.
