The Tokyo YMCA carries out activities which contribute to local communities in an attempt to create a just and peaceful world, in the hope that young people can achieve holistic development of their spirits, minds and bodies, based on the love and spirit of service as exemplified by Jesus Christ. 1. Local programs
   Tokyo YMCA is advancing the various kinds of programs that stemmed from the local areas centering around local centers, such as social welfare activities training, youth group activities, linguistics classrooms, area party education, environment education, international understanding/cooperation activities, open air education, general education classrooms and so on.
2. Health education
   Tokyo YMCA is making the wellness thought of YMCA spread and practice centering around wellness centers. The thought involves knowledge to have the richer life and how to achieve it. Tokyo YMCA provides facilities, equipments and various kinds of programs, offers guidance advices, to maintain and increase the health of hearts and bodies and to offer places to make friends. Possible exercises are swimming, weight trainings, basket ball, racquetball, tennis, golf, aerobics, Denmark gymnastics, karate, aikido, infant physical education, and so on.
3. Job education
   Tokyo YMCA is advancing the speciality school education that brings up the job person who was to the mind of YMCA base, because it runs the tip of the job education in Japan. It has an English language colloge, international hotel college, design research institute, physical education college, and is offering those places to learn for about 3000 students.
4. Hotel training centers
   Tokyo YMCA is managing hotels and training center camp place the word of the Bible with "treat diligently to travelers" as the motto. The hotels are carrying out even sponsorship programs, in addition to a/the Lake Yamanaka center, Mount Nobe highlands centers, Myoko highlands lodges, Nojiri camp place being used to a various training, camp and be used to lodging, conferences and various kinds meeting, wedding ceremony etc. It is also managing the Roka-koen park woman student hall for female students.
5. International understanding/cooperation activity
   Tokyo YMCA is doing international understanding/cooperation activity through all the programs, centering around an international voluntary service center. Doing the activity such as international understanding education/international interchange, international cooperation, funds, social welfare activities training independently and also cooperating with YMCA of other countries and NGO parties.
6. Open air education
   Tokyo YMCA is able to be taking an/the open air education activity in the range of all the programs as the pioneer of the education camp in Japan. Also, disclosing it to general it is doing the activity such as Daycamp, family camp, environment education.
