Visiting the Dentist

My grandfather is also my dentist. He is my mother's father. My family and I visited him and my grandmother this week. All the kids had their teeth checked. Mico was first. She didn't have any cavities. She had her tooth's picture taken, because two of her teeth were loose.

I was next. I refused 100% to be last to be examined. Kao did too. Well, anyway, I said was led. I also knew I had a loose tooth, and I was wondering if I was getting a shot. I have never gone to a dentist other than my grandfather. I got the tooth's picture taken, and my grandfather that he would pull the tooth. I asked if he was going to give my gum a shot. He said he probably would have to, because if he doesn't, it might hurt for at least 30 min.

He got is assistant to bring the shot. I think he was reluctant to do it, because he is scared that the shot may hurt and thinks that I won't like him anymore just because he gave me a shot and it hurt. Well, to tell you the truth, I was close to being petrified. OK. My brain was completely freaking out. I didn't look at the shot, yet I still didn't close my eyes. I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited, but I didn't feel any thing. I thought. " Maybe I am feeling the needle."

I set a half a second. The needle was already in my gum!!! My brain got scared. And next thing I realized was that my stubborn tooth was out!!! It was a little bit loose since last year! Oh yes. Tooth fairy came several days after it was pulled out.

My grandfather pulled it out because it was getting dirty and it could give me cavities. He wouldn't want to deal with any of his grand daughters' cavities, even though he fixed Kao's.

Guess what! The next day, Mico got two of her loose teeth pulled out! She got shots- two shots- on her gum, but grandpa had to insert the needle more than once! Mico said it didn't hurt at all. It really didn't! Was it SUPPOSED to hurt????
