ミロターはコンタックスのラインナップでもっとも長いレンズで反射望遠タイプである
反射望遠タイプは性質上色収差がほとんど無いため望遠レンズには適している
コンパクトに出来て全長が短いため手もちでも取り回しやすい
反面絞りが無いため光量の調節ができないという欠点もある
またリング上の特有のぼけも出るが一眼レフなので
ファインダー上でコントロールできるためそれを生かす作画も可能だ

Mirotar 500/8.0 is longest focal lens in the CONTAX T* lenses.
This is a mirror lens which is able to reduce chromatic abbreviation effectively.
The M500/8 is very compact lens for handheld shot.
This can not change aperture settings,
and it provides "Ring-shaped" bokeh as this is mirror lens.

また望遠に特化したMutarII,IIIもつけて最高1000mmまで伸ばす事ができる
しかし三脚を据えてもこの長さは使いこなすのはむずかしい
焦点距離が長いため圧縮効果・引き寄せ効果をドラマティックに作画に生かせる
これはあたかもホロゴンの超視覚の裏返しとも言えるだろう |
