Five kinds of Christmas stamps describing the snail were issued from Cuba in 1961.
In 1974, six stamps were issued to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the birth of the naturalist Felipe Poei. Two of them feature shellfish, while the other four feature butterflies and fish.
